Einstein Davidoff Cigar Lounge, St. Gallen

Our acquaintance probably goes back to the eighties with St.Gallen. Since then, I usually make my way for a graduation. This time, again, for a graduation in St. Gallen.

Known especially for its famous university in economics, St. This is why Gallen is known as a welcoming student city. Of course, the reason I mention this university city, which you can reach with a little over an hour from Zurich by train, is neither its history nor its famous university. In this small and beautiful city, there is one more place that we cigar lovers should see when you go. It is the Einstein Hotel with the Davidoff Puro Lounge inside.

Let me briefly talk about the hotel in order to relieve the curiosity due to its name. This five-storey building was used as a textile factory in the early days.After 1865, it served as a soup kitchen to improve the bad nutritional conditions of the poor people of its time. The main and surrounding buildings, which changed hands twice afterwards, were eventually bought and used by Isaak David Einstein, who was also a textile business. The company, which continued production here until 1936, is here Adolph Hahn und Co. and to the textile manufacturer Max Kriemler, who finally turned the building into a hotel in 1953.

In short, the Davidoff cigar lounge, which is our subject, was finally opened. Of course, as the name suggests, you can find all of Davidoff's and group brands' vitolas for smoking. In addition, Habanos options are not at all insignificant. Prices range from SFr.11 .- (TL30) for Davidoff Entreacto to Maduro Robusto SFr.26 (TL70.-). In Habanos there is a Montecristo No.2 SFr.23 .- (TL62) while Behike is around 52 SFr.50 (TL135). Actually, it's not herpes. Of course, the drink menu is also unlimited. It can be particularly expensive, but I suggest you try some of the limited edition and award-winning Schnaps, especially if you've had a full-fledged meal.

The lounge has a very warm atmosphere. Along with leather sofas, there are also normal but leather-upholstered tables with chairs. Due to the name resemblance on the walls, it is possible to see Einstein's paintings. It also adds a nice atmosphere. I also see a poster with pictures of celebrities enjoying cigars on another wall. The space has a seating capacity of approximately 40 people, and there is a room for up to 20 people that you can rent for private meetings, but if not rented, you can pass and sit. Chesterfield sofas are already in this room.

There is a warm welcome at the hotel and the service is just as warm. The venue is open every day after 17.00, except on Sundays and public holidays. If you go to Switzerland, where everywhere is close to each other, on one occasion, it is a place where you can visit and be satisfied. I wish those who will visit in advance enjoy a lot.
